"This property is amazing, hands down our favorite hotel of the trip. The restaurant was not only delicious but so kindly accommodating of allergies - be sure to give them at least a day's notice though. All the public spaces are so cozy and welcoming. Our third floor room did get a bit stuffy in unseasonably warm weather, with one window that didn't open much, but they allowed us to move to a room with much more airflow. "This is by far the best hotel we stayed in Iceland. Nestled in the northern side of Snaefellesnes peninsula in Olasvik, the hotel is a very reasonable distance from Kirkjufellfoss. The room was spacious, and very clean. When I called up the customer service and asked to move me to a room with kitchen, she gladly did that for me. Such a nice gesture. We are a family of 4 and this was a family room with ocean view. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. "

"Great place. Large room, Icelandic “double” room (two single beds put together). Large shared kitchen and a good location in town. My only complaint is that the smoke alarm went off at 2AM for no reason and stopped after about 15 seconds so my sleep wasn’t great"

"We had a great night in the hotel. The room was clean and there was plenty of room with the three beds. The restaurant food was good for dinner and breakfast was tasty. The front desk had a map showing all the murals in town so we went for an evening walk checking them out. We highly recommend looking for the magnificent murals. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. "

"Very unique stay with history. Hosts were very accommodating and welcoming. Loved the vibe The coffee and breakfast option at the hostel is actually in the next village over, which was a bit confusing. "
