Lavender Fields at Norfolk Lavender, Heacham, Norfolk Lavender Fields, showing the different colours of the various types of lavender grown in these fields. I was told when I went there that some of the plants were 60 years old and they are cut back each year to allow new growth.

Lavender Beds at Norfolk Lavender, Heacham, Norfolk As well as the usual purple lavender, you can see some white lavender on the right hand side of the image. The lavender plants are many years old and are cut down ruthlessly every year.

Nigel was very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Breakfast included an array of cereals, yogurts, breads and scrambled egg was available. The site is close to the beach but it was too cold for us to spend any time by the sea.
