"The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The roof-top terrace had a very nice view of the main road & the Dal lake, both at night and in daytime. "Great view. excellent service. Very courteous staff. However this is an older property under renovation. I did not know about renovations until at the property. Many features did not work. No swimming pool (outdoor) despite being advertised on Expedia and all sites. Room safe did not work and was not bolted Room heating did not work since there was leakage from balcony door There was no lobby to walk, mingle since everything was under construction "

"The rooms are too small for even a couple & a child but otherwise, spotlessly clean. Overall hospitality needs an uplift as I found the staff a little 'crude'. The warmth that we are used to in the Indian hospitality industry was nowhere to be seen but functional for sure. "

"It was not as we expected. The boat was located in a very congested area without any open view. The access to the boat was from land only through a very run down area killing the whole experience. On top, the hospitality was not good. The care taker showed resistance to provide any service about food etc. no towels in the bathrooms. Look for a better place to stay. "
