Hotel Dekat Harold and Ruth Schaefer Fine Arts Center

"Everything was well maintained and the staff was very polite."

"Elevator was dirty, counters were smudgy. Staff was nice. Some one else was checked into our room very late at night and repeatedly tried to get in until we told them the front desk must of double booked the room. Their key worked but they could not get in as the door chain was in place. I guess they got another room. Breakfast was ok. McDonald's is very near and is a better breakfast option."

"Quiet, clean and priced well for overnight stay."

"Beautiful Clean Room with Friendly Staff--So Nice! The parking was simple, well lit and safe. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options to choose from and the coffee flowed freely! Had a perfect stay at AmericInn by Wyndham Mankato Event Center! Would absolutely recommend staying here!"

"Loved rooms"

"Staff were awesome!"

"This was the cutest little boutique hotel we have stayed in! It was clean, and perfectly located downtown to everything Mankato Marathon related- the expo, bus stop to the start line, and the finish line. We loved the mid-century vibe and minimalist design. There was a cute little mini fridge in our room and a microwave in the communal coffee bar area. This was absolutely perfect for bringing all my pre and post-race food. They have coffee and tea available 24/7, and there were two little...

"Cleanliness was good, though please adequately stock the rooms with extra toilet paper would be nice, had to get extra at front desk. And the shower tub combo, expect to take a bath. Front desk advised how to operate not the best mechanism shower head. Overall okay."

"Had a great stay... room was clean and comfy, breakfast was good, overall good value."

"There wasn’t really Wifi in our room. The laundry room only had one functioning washer and dryer so the wait was terrible. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful when it came to trying to remedy the issues that we had. It was just very oh well I am sorry, not a lot I can do."

"Although hotel looks outdated on the inside- the room was clean- breakfast was fresh and staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The beds were very noisy and the tvs were not usable."

"I always stay here when I visit family in Mankato. Great budget option for solo travel."

"The road noise was terrible, thought maybe a window was open since we could hear the highway noise so well but it wasn’t. Easy to hear through the walls too, neighbors were up making noise until 2:45am. Between the noise and the uncomfortable mattress we slept so poorly. Bathroom floor was dirty. Dropped something on the floor so wiped it with a wet tissue and couldn’t believe how gray/dirty looking the tissue was, (soiled floor not initially noticed due to color of tile). Won’t stay there...

"We needed a place to sleep 8 hours and this worked"

"Every thing was alright"
