"It was a lovely cottage inside and out but very difficult with kitchen being upstairs as my moms not well and finds it difficult doing stairs Then as I open one of the kitchen cupboard it fell off then to finish it off my mom got in the bed on the first night and the bed collapsed on the one side I came to look and the leg had fell off the bed so I was ment to be on holiday and ended up fixing a bed unfortunately it was a short stay for my mom she went home the next day because she didn’t like...

"We stayed in a twin room during a walking holiday. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The room had everything we needed; the hairdryer was helpful as not all 3 star hotels provide one. We had dinner in the bar - we both agreed, it was one of the best bar meals we've had in ages! Thank you Y Pengwern!"

"The en suite was very nicely appointed and had a walk in shower. The room was not large but it was perfectly adequate for our few days there. We were a little surprised that there were no drawers or cupboards, just a fold out arm for clothes hangers (which we had fortunately brought with us!) and a bedside shelf. No aircon in the bedroom but fans were provided. There was a boot tray - ideal for walkers The general decor was in good condition as it had been refurbished only a couple of years ago. Parking was free in the car park across the road if you registered your vehicle with the hotel on arrival. Although the hotel is on the A5 road it was not noisy, but then our room was at the back. The manager kindly changed our room because the first one had a shower in bath arrangement and we had requested and had confirmed a walk in shower. The food was nice and all the staff were really pleasant and helpful. We would be happy to stay here again the future."

"My partner had an accident whilst hiking (helicopter evacuation and several hours in Bangor A&E) and the generosity, kindness, empathy, and love from the staff at Snowdonia Mountain Lodge was next level. We could not have wanted or asked for more. The lodge in a lovely setting with great views, gardens and a small stream plus communal dining area/lounge for those not in the retreat part of the complex. Highly recommended and we will return when physically and mentally healed."
