I’d give more than 5 if I could! The staff went above and beyond - I left my jacket at a hair salon and the hotel staff called the salon and arranged it to be brought back to the hotel before our flight (all within 15 minutes). Aside from the amazing staff, the family rooms were a perfect blend of privacy and closeness. The rooms were well cleaned and maintained. Will definitely book again when we revisit Hanoi

Our room was great, it was very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff were amazing... so helpful and friendly and easy to communicate with . This hotel is in such a great spot, very close to lake and busy market streets but is quieter and easier to get to than many others .

Room is outdated, bathroom with glass walls can be seen through, no privacy, and I had two rooms as family unit. shower with tub it was hard to use. The hotel is over rated, as 4 and 1/2 stars. Breakfast was not good. Need more selection. Staff were excellent and helpful.

This hotel is a great fit for me. Its right by everything and mean everything. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. The markets, the lake, the red bridge and restaurants all within walking distance. I will be booking here again.

Very friendly and committed staff, all well speaking english. The hotel is in shortest walking distance to the lake and lots of shops and restaurants, but quiet for sleeping at night. Bathrooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely.

The staff was absolutely the best, they went above and beyond on every detail, WE LOVED staying at this hotel, rooms were spacious, everything was new and squeaky clean, the breakfast food was top notch, and again, the staff... OMG they were all so lovely and attentive. I would recommend this place for ever!

Best bed we have ever slept in and we have travelled the world. Back door leads straight onto the lake, big thank you to the young concierge for showing us. Pool and jacuzzi in basement a great plus. This is a new hotel with exceptional young staff, nothing was to much. Planning on returning next April with sons, can’t wait to return.

They were quite accommodating. The location is minutes away from where you want to be. The facilities are beautiful and the accents and details in the lobby are tasteful. I liked the paintings. Very fun. Good vibes. Staff speaks English.

This hotel will be demolished next month, in January 2026. The government used Imminent Domain to take over a section of Lakeside property to create a community area. So, it doesn't really matter what I think about this hotel. It was a good place to stay in a variety of ways, but the deal breaker for me was that they refused to give my travel partner and I two room keys. Therefore, every time we went out separately, one of us had to be escorted back to our 10th floor room. The bedroom door of the suite locked when closed and required a key to open, then would beep madly every time it opened. That's disturbing to the person sleeping in the other room. And I got locked out one time in my towel and had to call the desk for help. The shower was utterly translucent. It was supposed to be slightly fogged, but once wet, there was no privacy at all. The toilet was the usual glass walls, also. Why do we want our throne on display? The breakfast was mediocre, the dinner was just plain bad. I think the pho broth was plain water! The staff was excellent. The location was great!

We felt this hotel was falsely advertised. We paid over AUD 400 per night (supposedly at a 75% discount on Wotif), expecting a genuine 5-star experience, but it did not come close. The construction quality is poor, and the bathroom setup is both awkward and unsafe — the shower is inside a wobbly, unsecured bathtub. Breakfast was very limited, coffee wasn’t included, and the baby high chair was broken. The TV offered no English channels or smart functionality, so no Netflix or streaming, and our room overlooked construction sites and backyards, which added to the disappointment. Cleanliness was another major issue: we found a lizard in the room and a bug in our daughter’s bed. The bed was lumpy, the hotel noisy at night, and a sign asked guests not to flush toilet paper — unacceptable for a property claiming 5 stars. We left after one night of a three-night stay; while they refunded one night, they also asked us not to post a review. We moved to another hotel that was half the price and ten times better in every way. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
