This place is clean quiet charming and beautiful. The hosts are tremendously hospitable and helpful. The breakfast are generous and delicious.

Super adorable bed and breakfast with the best meal every morning. We felt like we were truly lucky to find such a special place in the beautiful north shore of Kauai.

Super séjour !

Super séjour chez Toby ! À 100m de l'océan, quelques kilomètres du parc, la localisation est parfaite. La chambre elle-même (Pineapple suite) est spacieuse, propre et confortable. Toby est un hôte formidable, plein de conseils et d'astuces pour profiter au mieux de la côte Nord de Kauai. Ses petits-déjeuners sont également fantastiques, différents chaque matin et cuisinés par ses soins, avec un assortiment de fruits tropicaux frais à partager. En bref, un fantastique séjour à Hale Ho'o Maha !

Hervorragendes B&B im Paradies

Wir haben uns aufgrund der guten Bewertung für dieses B&B entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das von einem älteren, goldigen Ehepaar geführte B&B verfügt über vier Suiten und befindet sich im Norden der Kauai-Insel (Wainiha). Das Kingsize-Bett ist sehr bequem und auch die Dusche ist super, in der auch locker 2 Personen gleichzeitig duschen können. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls super lecker, abwechslungsreich und wird ab 7 Uhr bereitgestellt. Bis jetzt ist das für uns die schönste von insgesamt 6 Unterkünften auf Hawaii (3 auf Kauai, 3 auf Big Island). Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

アットホームな雰囲気のホテル

ハナレイでB&Bを探していて利用させていただきました。ビーチパラソルや椅子、マットなどもレンタル利用できるように完備されていて、近くのケエビーチでの海水浴に利用しました。また利用したいです！

Excellent B&B!

Location was superb. Out of town and away from the tourist buzz, while pretty much across the road from the most picturesque beaches on Kauai. Note. You will need to drive into Hanalei if you intend to eat out... there is a bar/restaurant around the corner, ok for a drink during the day, but steer clear for good food/service. Hosts were lovely and helpful, plus they made delicious breakfasts! The rooms and amenities were second to none. Excellent bedroom with huge bathroom. Full use of the high quality kitchen and barbeque, with any utensils one could ever need. If you're tossing up this or a condo/hotel, do yourself a favour.... and stay here.

Fine place, less than ideal behaviour

The place was overall good, except for one incident when the owner had to sleep on the couch in the common area which is really for guests to use, he yelled at us for turning on the light on the first evening we stayed there. We had no idea someone was there in the dark to begin with, and again the area was for everyone to access kitchen and TV etc. It was also around 9pm so not late at all. We could not find a restaurant that was still open around that time, were very hungry and was hoping to eat the groceries bought in the supermarket nearby. The owner not only hijacked the public space which we paid for as guests, but also behaved in a way that made the us very uncomfortable. The behaviour was totally inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable, it had that much of a negative impact on our (or anyone in that position) experience, as that was the first day we arrived Kauai. To be fair, the lady who was hosting while the owner went on vacation was very friendly and super helpful. But I still feel it necessary to leave my feedback on that incident, which is very unfortunate, disappointing and should never happen again. The hotel is also small with only 4 guest rooms so it was not as private as I would have expected.

Great B&B very close to the beach

Kirby and Toby were great hosts and made for a very pleasant stay on the north shore of Kauai. I stayed in the Mango Room which had a nice view of the mountains. The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. The property is very close to Tunnels beach which I found to be one of the more beautiful beaches in both Kauai and all of Hawaii. Breakfast was served every morning and was very tasty from Blueberry waffles to eggs and bacon with a nice assortment of fruit.

Great B&B for honeymooners

Great B&B for honeymooners. The B&B is run by the friendly couple Kirby and Toby. Kirby and Toby invites you to live in their Hawaiian home and right away you feel like home. Every morning Toby makes a very delicious breakfast with lot of different fruits and a new breakfast dish every day. The Mango room, we stayed in, is roomy/cosy and has a stunning view to the mountains from the lanai. The B&B was a perfect base for us. It's close to Kauai's many beautiful spots. For example the Kalalau trail and great snorkeling at Tunnels beach. The beach is just across the street and is perfect for romantic walks. The Hanalei area is very beautiful with its great coastline and stunning views to the mountains everywhere.

Bad news , Good news

This B and B is a lovely spot w a good breakfast and amenities but our personal experience was disappointing . We awoke to the news on our first AM that there had been a mistake and we could not stay there a second night as booked. We understand about mistakes. They gave us the previous night for free. Thank you. But There was no attempt to help us find another place and we got stranded. Really upsetting.

Wonderful place

Located in the most beautiful part of Kauai, this place is also beautifully built and decorated. The host knows everything about the island and makes great breakfasts. I should say that when I book a B&B I make a point of looking for places where at least one person has complained that the hosts weren't friendly enough. Toby and Kirby were great hosts - made everything clear and easy and stayed out your way. Very interesting people. Loved this place.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The bed was very comfortable and it was so nice to sleep in and then walk into the dining room for a delicious breakfast, different each day with a variety of fresh fruits, and juice. It was really nice to speak to the owners about recommendations on what beaches to see, activities to do and good food in town. They are very kind. We enjoyed a short walk to a nearby beach and we were some of the few people there. It is close to the Napali coast hike as well as many great beaches. Kauai is breathtaking.

Highlight of our trip

Wonderful B&B, 30 sec walk to the beach, quiet, easy parking, hot tub, close to the Napali trail, great owners who were friendly but also gave you your space, beautiful rooms, very updated bathrooms, and wonderful breakfasts. We had a great time.

Felt like a true Hawaii stay

We had an awesome stay. The host was very pleasant and made us breakfast with fresh cut fruit every morning before our hike. It definitely felt like true Hawaii!

relaxation and seclusion, yet close to hiking.

We wanted peace, quite and relaxation and found it! Toby's breakfasts were filling and delicious. The rooms were large and easy to fall asleep in with the sound of the palm fronds blowing. Bonus pets on premises so it was like being at home. Toby and Kirby are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed talking with them and learning so much about the area and their lives. We want to come back and spend our entire vacation there, not just 3 nights!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

The B&B is located in a very quiet neighborhood in beautiful Hanalei, very close to the beach. We had a wonderful room, with windows overlooking the mountains, and we enjoyed a great breakfast, made by Toby. Toby and Kirby are delightful people - warm, welcoming, and interesting to talk to. The house has a huge living and dining room, the rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, and we loved returning there every evening. We have only good things to say about this place. Highly recommended!
