Rude staff at front desk. They didn’t greet us kindly, didn’t offer waters for my Gold Elite status. The bar was completely out of wine and most alcohol. Did not have blow drier in our room. For breakfast they barely had any items to serve. Starbucks machine was broken so they could only offer drip coffee. I stay at Courtyard Marriot properties about 25-30 times a year and this is not the norm for most properties. Less than impressed with this one.

Several power outlets and the in-room refrigerator didn’t work. Also, the design of the shower is very poor causing the bathroom floor to get flooded.

This hotel cancelled my hotel room the night of my reservation without telling me. This was in the middle of torrential rains where driving conditions were too bad for extended drives. I was told there were no vacancies so I had to search for the next few hours for a new place. Ended up cutting my trip short. Marriot Bonvoy is absolutely terrible in my opinion.

The Courtyard is a clean and modern hotel. The staff are very nice. However, true accomodations could use some attention. The smoke detector was covered with paper and the shower was rickety. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

tv did not work properly. dirty elevators. no brkfst included for price. closet door magnet broken, door stayed open. very low water pressure at sink. no shower door, water could go to floor. no microwave above frig. frig very small. as square dancers and ballroom dancers we often travel and frequent hotels in our travels.

Apparently the hotel had a power outage and they couldn’t make keys ALL WEEKEND!! They did offer to cancel the rooms if it was an inconvenience, but everybody was there for a wedding. The hotel says that they will give a discount. Please tell me why I still paid $200 to stay there. That’s not a discount. Especially when that was my price prior. I don’t recommend this hotel. They don’t have their stuff together and they will lie just to get you to stay. The discount wasn’t immediately applied to our bill because she claims she had to get with “ management” but my mother used the same girl upon checking in and got a discount, a HUGE ONE she only paid $129. When I checked my account with the updated price, I was disappointed to see that no discount was given for the HUGE inconvenience.

Not sure where to start as im extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the courtyard in Hammond LA. I will say the staff was extremely nice. But the facility needs to be cleaned. Elevators filthy the entire time. But that was not the main issue. My room had so much mold in it that my eyes swole up and I started sneezing like crazy. Allergic reaction to all the mold. They switched my room and guess what??? Same issue. Mold all in the ceiling all in the bathroom. It was to the point i went and laid in the rental vehicle in order to be able to breathe. Im super disappointed and feel like i should be compensated for my inconvenience. Spoke to the lady at the desk and she told me to file a complaint. This was not an easy task and was told i have to wait 3-5 days for a response from the 800 number i was finally able to find on google. This place was worse than a motel 6 and the prices where 2x higher. Someone needs to fix this. I cant post my pictures but if you could see how much mold there was it would disgust you.
