Too much new housing is spoiling a country market town

Our room was freshly redecorated and on the 6th floor which had all new carpets in the hallway. Staff friendly the only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast. We have been using this hotel for many years and notice which we blame the economic climate for that the hot breakfast is greatly ...

Easy bus connection from Stansted. Nice welcome on arrival. Room adequate with large telly and very clean Comfortable bed. All good. If you need a Stansted overnigh this is worth considering.

Lots of flowers all around the town so very pretty. Lots of places to eat snacks and meals.
Pleasant enough small town, nothing remarkable about it, but some rather good old buildings.
Small friendly town which would have been a good base for a leisure break but we were totally occupied with visiting a friend who is ill
