"Nice mountain resort hotel with a view of the lake. Check in was easy and room was large. We had half board - food was good but probably due to communication problem, we were not served Japanese-style dinner like the local tourists. However breakfast was Japanese. There was a nice onsen too. There was a slight problem in the morning when water was cut off, but it was restored just before check out. Easily walk-able to local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Note that certain amenities are not included (razors, toothbrush) so bringing one is important. Also, though a non-smoking room was reserved, I was given a smoking room, so make sure you check upon check-in."

"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"All of the staff at this hotel were simply amazing. We arrived at the hotel late. Regardless of the time of the arrival at the hotel, many staff members came to the lobby area and welcomed us. Every single one of them were very helpful. They gave us information about the airport, such as airport's operation hours and when airline counters start operationg. Without the knowledge, we were to miss their amazing breakfast, and go to the airport way too early, just to wait outside for a long time! The hotel offered to run their free shuttle bus to the airport outside of their scheduled operation hours, so that we don't have to drag our suitcases to the airport. The room was very clean and locations of amenities were very well thought out. Options at the breakfast buffet were just amazing. Our stay at fhe hotel was less than 12 hrs due to our flight schedule, but the stay was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. 10/10!"

"Beautiful hotel. The rooms are fantastic and have huge windows with nice chaise long in front. The reception is calm and decorated with beautiful bonsai trees. The sushi restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend having one meal here. And the staff couldn’t do enough for us."

"It is a fine place to stay, even if just in a standard room. Safe, quiet, and connected to the main train station, so getting around is easy. The standard room is starting to feel a bit dated (I’ve stayed here before about 6 years ago) and could do with some refreshing. Still, I didn’t spend too much time [in] the room so it wasn’t a big deal. Staff were (like last time) very competent and friendly."
