"I spent a few days at the SureStay and had a great time. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and the location was perfect—very close to the Golden Temple. There were several restaurants nearby, and the hotel’s food was good as well."

"The location of the property is the best part about it, being near to all the famous places.
The interior/decor is nice. But, the staff service is not good. We came back after four hours and our room was still not cleaned. The Internet for the TV did not work for the whole stay. Nobody came to check it despite multiple calls."

"Good location. Room was an airless windowless box. Like all Indian hotels it was worn out and ingrained dirt. The Expedia photographs show a decent room with windows and space what I got was room 202 and my pal 402. Both windowless boxes. The catering was awful unless you want some ghastly green brown liquid curry for breakfast.DIY toast was the best on offer for Europeans."

"LOCATION:
The location of this hotel was amazing. It is situated directly across from Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Golden Temple) and closest entrance is right across. You can even enjoy a beautiful view of the Golden Temple while having breakfast at the upstairs hotel restaurant. Because of the prime location, it was incredibly convenient to attend the early morning ceremony at around 3:30 a.m. and return later for the night ceremony at approximately 10:00–10:30 p.m. Attending both was a truly different and serene experience.
The hotel is within walking distance of many souvenir shops, as well as a McDonald’s—one of only three vegetarian McDonald’s in the world. It was very convenient to take walks through the lovely streets filled with various shops and dining options.
Amritsar Airport and Amritsar Train Junction are both relatively close, making Uber rides to and from the hotel easy and accessible.
STAFF:
All front desk staff were extremely pleasant, polite, accommodating, and respectful throughout our stay.
HOTEL BREAKFAST:
The breakfast options were very minimal, but the food was decent and the menu changed daily.
ROOM AND CLEANLINESS:
The room was decent but not very spacious. The window area was only a box cutout with no actual window, so there was no way to look outside or open it. However, since most of our time was spent exploring outside the hotel, this was not a major issue. The bathroom could benefit from renovation, as noticeable wear and tear was evident."
"Hot water / bathroom water not working - complained - advised we were using wrong - same issue next morning - inconvenienced - had to use another rooms bathroom. "
