"Prestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself. "

The place was modern in stylings. The flat was on the 3rd floor (there is no lift) which wasn’t really an issue for us and we liked the space and view. "

It was convenient to shop then drop your purchases in the room and not have to carry them around. The two tours we took met right outside the hotel. Could go back to our room to use the toilet and never had to use the public toilets. Breakfast was very good with lots of options.
