"This a modest hotel in a wonderful little town, close to the harbor and โ€œdowntownโ€ area. Their restaurant is good but for dinner meals make sure you know how that is functioning during your visit because there are very few places to get a meal and none are open late. Breakfast is great, available daily, with great coffee and buffet style food, awesome bread. Itโ€™s very close to the starting point of the Anders Askevold, self-guided walking tour of 11 points of interest; he was a 10th century painter, famous in Norway, and each point of interest tells an interesting story about his life in Askvoll. And the scenery is stunning."
