"This place is a gem along the 101! Traveling from northern CA to Santa Barbara for a graduation and stayed here 1 night before picking up family at the SB airport the next day. It sits high atop the hill with a view in all directions and, with the adorable retro vibe, feels literally removed from every day life. I just wish I could have stayed a few more nights. I didn't get to eat in the restaurant...just know it isn't open until noon on weekdays but 10 on weekends. Very cute pool area too. My...

"Once we exited off the freeway, we noticed this huge colorful building. Then realized this was the hotel we would be staying at. Once we entered the building, we noticed how calm and colorful the inside lobby looked. We were welcomed by a young man with a very pleasant smile and we were checked in. We loved our room. The scent in our room was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was fantastic! Excellent display of the foods available to us, as well as the area was very clean. ...

"Was a nice stay for one night. My kids enjoyed the pool. Plenty of places to eat around the area. Lobby and breakfast area was clean, staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable and the ac unit was cold! "

"Overall the hotel has old time charm, but has been updated. One criticism-the blackout curtains did not close all the way, plus did not extend to the floor in front of the glass balcony door. Despite this, we were very happy with our stay."
