"Communication was excellent. Nice, quiet location. You have to fill the tub yourself on arrival which takes some time, but instructions were clear and easy. A great spot!"

"We stayed in one of the small houses for two nights in April 2026. We had two beautiful days/nights. The radiant floors were a standout. The house faces west, which huge picture windows to the west and north. During the first night, we happened to catch a quick showing of northern lights. "My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room...

"This place is awesome and had everything we needed. Very clean and lots of room gor a family of 4. This house is second to none in accomodations in Akureyri. We really enjoyed our stay there. "

"Place is ok but a few annoying things. Finding the place was not so easy. Also unexpectedly had stairs leading up to the apartment. The bed was not comfortable and pretty noisy. Blinds really don’t block out enough light. And there was no shampoo or shower wash. Pretty basic miss. "
