"My fourth time staying here in the last few months on business, always a good experience. All the staff I met were friendly, professional and courteous - I didn’t get everyone’s names but Tina on reception, Tina, Paula and Holly in the restaurants / at breakfast. I was upgraded to a partial sea view room which was clean, adequate space and was quiet overnight. Good parking facilities, ideal location on the sea front, comfortable bed. I’ll be back again next week ! One thing I will say in case management ever read these is that it’s your STAFF who make a good hotel, please make sure they are made aware of feedback like this. Thank you. "
"The staff were excellent , very helpful and obliging. I moved from the single room as it was very small and the view was a brick wall . The hotel was quiet and the location was very convenient with a 10 minute walk to reach the main drag ."
"An absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Ocean. Such a lovely hotel, clean, modern and very well located on the sea front. Breakfast was really good with a great choice. My fave was the fresh fruit salad, the yogurt & compote so tasty. Although the sausages with the full English were good too!
We cannot wait to go back."
"Only stopped for 1 night, but the place is great. Nice clean bedroom and a brilliant breakfast. Good location if having your holiday as 5 mins walk to the main areas."
"The old hall hotel was spotless from top to bottom. We really enjoyed the pool jacuzzi sauna and steam room for which towels were also provided. All the staff were very happy to help and were lovely.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back."
"Lovely family run hotel with great views of the seafront. The room was spacious and well appointed. Bed was big and comfortable. The only negative was the noise from adjoining rooms, snoring from one side & a loud telephone conversation from the other but it is difficult with such an old building. We are in the restaurant and the food was great, wide range of choice & it was hot & tasty. Breakfast was also very good. What made this hotel special was the owners & staff, they were friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again."
