"Great location on the river and only about 12 minutes from the Crocodile Bridge Gate at Kruger. It's not a luxurious property but we had the proper expectations. We enjoyed the amenities that we needed and the location on the river was tranquil and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating and friendly."

"Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....

"We had the most amazing stay at The Outpost. The staff were amazing. Our butler, Dartanya was super attentive and no ask was too much and our guide, Keegan, was very knowledgable and went above and beyond to make our first safari experience special. The rooms were immaculate and like nothing I’ve ever stayed in and the food was excellent. "

"We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. The outside area was well maintained and staff was always busy keeping it that way. The common area had a bar (honor system) and rooftop patio with comfortable furniture. The breakfast area was beautifully arranged and we...
