"Great stay for the price! Old beach smell, but property has been updated with newer flooring, paint, furniture and bathroom is nice. We rented cabin 12, it is the last on one in the row. The cabins are out by the road and then a nice paved road (pretty short walk) and the main hotel is a short walk to the beach. The pillows weren’t bad and the bed was very comfortable. "Clean room, friendly staff workers. Good communication. The upper hot tub needing cleaning, and sparse kitchen utensils and dishes. Cooking pans need replacing. Close to beach and quiet area."

"This was easily the best check-in experience I've ever had at a motel. The owners greeted us and gave us a choice between two rooms. They were very helpful. And the beds are all new memory foam mattresses. This is a big deal for me since I need at least a medium-firm mattress for my back, and these beds were great! Would certainly stay here again. "

"There is no pool here, for the last night of my stay i paid online when I went down to the office they told me that Expedia has not been paying them for the guests that paid online and I would have to pay them directly if I wanted to stay. I explained that I would not be able to do that as I had already paid Expedia for the stay. He told me in this case they would make an exception but only for this one time. "Amazing place with friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay, but it was disappointing that the pool wasn't working, the hot tub intermittently, and our room's slider had moisture damage that prevented us from seeing the beautiful view."

"Saltwater Inn was fabulous! It was a beautiful spot that overlooked the Westport Marina. The rooms were recently remodeled, clean and was an incredible management team. We will contine going back!!"

"Staff is very accommodating, proximity to the beach is great and I loved that they had a nice facility to clean clams. Unfortunately, our unit was very run down with very limited cookware, beat up/stained furniture, appliances that didn't work, heating that didn't work, no instructions for TV, check-out, etc. Floors were filthy and I even stepped in something gooey left behind by another guest. A good cleaning could go a long way."

"First got there hair in the bed garbage left in corners the beds were not comfortable at all. Windows dirty couldn’t see out. Breakfast was ok card keys wouldn’t always work kept going to front desk to change them. Probably won’t stay there again."

"We had a great stay in the cabin. The hot water was a little scarce, but it was ok. The mattresses on the bunk beds could be thicker. Fine for kids. Adults not so much. Moved to the futon and it was fine. Bathroom lighting could be better. All in all, we enjoyed it and had a great time! The cabin was clean and the yard outside also. Well equipped kitchen. We'll be back!"
