"Everything was perfect except the beds and pillows very budget and I am not a fussy sleeper but i genuinely had a terrible sleep I have slept on airport seats and train corridors this was the worst Its a shame as they had good night staff Who even put our bikes in safe storage in their laundry room"

"On Expedia, description says it has a restaurant. It does, but it's not currently operational. You can get a beer, and the Continental breakfast, but that's it. It also lists air conditioning. I can't speak for any room other than the one I had, but it wasn't working. Air conditioning was the reason I booked it. I was told it was in heating mode, and only the manager, who wasn't around, could change it. My room also had no window I could open, only a glass door to the patio and back parking lot....

"A surprise gem, slightly older hotel so unsure when we arrived but the staff are wonderful and the location is great, walkable (20mins down the hill and back up) to the town. A really pleasant stay."

"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...
