You can tell the person that owns the place really loves what they're doing. We received great information on what to do in town. "We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We attended an event at the nearby Nevada County Fairgrounds and stayed for one night. The staff were pleasant. The room was large, with a full kitchen, very nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. Super clean and homey. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was great. Located right in the heart of town and just two miles from the fairgrounds. "

"The check in was really quick. The place is nice. When we walked in, the beddings were stained. But, the lady changed it for us. The parking is a little tight but it all worked out. The stay was really pleasant. Note the following: There are really no amenities provided. There's no breakfast There's no pool No irons inside the rooms. No laundry service No room service There is a hair dryer, a microwave, and a fridge. It's very plain. Okay for a quick overnight stay. "

"We were greeted by an individual whose first words to us were you didn't pay enough but that is ok because your TV does not work. Then I was told that my amount owed was $30 less than what I already paid. When we went up to the room it was old, dirty not well kept, nor was it safe. The shower current was what appeared to be a Dollar Tree Liner (looked like a garbage bag) there were old tattered towels.
