"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. All the canvas reproductions have it a rather fake appearance - one would get in Disneyland …… Time to commission - at least- some contemporary artists to bring a sense of authenticity & while also patronizing young Irish artists…"

"Beautiful large hotel with easy reach to Sligo town. It was previously a lockdown mental Institution but the clayton has turned it into a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and, spa and indoor pool. The only downside was that when we arrived in the room, the next room had young teenage kids playing football, and the noise was very off-putting as the ball smashed up against the wall. So we immediately went down to Reception and asked if we could be moved. The receptionist apologised and gave us another room, but when we got to it, it also had very young kids next door. We didn't go and complain as we knew they would eventually go to sleep, and they did, and we never heard from them again. The breakfast was good and warm, and the service was good. The staff were all very friendly"
