"Professionally renovated. Great bed and comfortable chair. Nice high def Samsung tv. All new plumbing fixtures with good water pressure. For a budget motel I was surprised at the quality of the room. Most renovations are sloppy and unprofessional. This one was well done."

"We loved our stay at Riverboat Bed and Breakfast!!! We were met by Mary Beth who was absolutely wonderful. The historical home was gorgeous and so accommodating. We only stayed one night, which next time I won’t make that mistake lol, so we didn’t have much time there but we definitely enjoyed every minute of our trip. I can’t wait to go back!!! ❤️"

"Farrah was wonderful and made it fun. She told us the best places to eat and even took us to the Saloon where the locals like to go listen to live music. This experience was truly like being with friends instead of hotels that just make you feel that you are just an unknown room number."

"When you stay at The Pillars, you’re transported to yesteryear, when things were quieter, softer, more genteel than present day. Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century."

"We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions."

"An absolutely Divine Stay! June was Hot but the charming pool was a refreshing quench at the end of the day. Big beach towels in a cute pool bag were provided in the room for us. The complementary tour of the house was gorgeous! The Garden & Veranda areas were well maintained and in full bloom. "Absolutely loved our stay here. Felt like a true Southern Belle. Our room was beautiful. We sat on the rocking chairs on the second floor balcony quite a lot and just enjoyed the luxurious atmosphere. It was very peaceful and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the house tour. "

"Lovely property with an incredible view. Peaceful, beautiful and a great escape from a busy hectic life. Our room was clean, well thought out with lots of windows and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend. We loved it!!!!"
