When we arrived the receptionist had no way to look up our reservation. Apparently their computer system was not installed yet. She accepted the reservation that I showed her on my phone that I made through Expedia and the rate that it stated I owed. We chose to pay in cash on site upon arrival. She gave me a hand written receipt and advised me to cancel my reservation through Expedia so that my credit card was not charged. Unfortunately I couldn't do that because it was past the cancellation time. We were given a room we have stayed in before (about 3 years ago) and we were good with that because we knew what it should have been like. It was not what we remember. The floors were dirty, the cable remote needed batteries (the receptionist found used replacements in the office), the TV remote had batteries that had exploded inside but still worked, we only had one set of towels for the two of us, a light bulb was burned out in the bathroom so there was not adequate light. There were no nightstands next to the bed. There was an ice machine in the office entryway but no other amenities of any kind. The coffee machine was nonfunctional. We felt bad for the receptionist because she did what she could to help us with no support for owners or management. They weren't around. If we needed assistance there were phone numbers taped to the check in window to call. Don't let the pictures that make this place look good fool you.
