The Lodge was fine for what we needed. Being close to the market was nice for picking up our picnic items before heading out to watch the sunset over the canyon. Easy access, good parking, and a less expensive option than the hotels on the rim.

Food was ok but would be nice to have some changes/specials to the menu on occasion. Also, the coffee station needs to be improved for efficiency. Only 2 pots of coffee available with cups near one, cream near the other. Really causes a traffic jam.
