"The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great! But what really got me was the kind gentleman who checked us in. I asked for a couple of extra coffee pods for the morning and he showed up to our room a little bit later with a bunch of them. Just really great service, with a friendly attitude. The woman checking us in for breakfast was the same -- very personable and very helpful!! So the hotel was good -- the staff was excellent."

"We went to the island for work, we’ve never stayed here. From the minute we walked in we were wowed by the place. It’s absolutely beautiful, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the rooms are enormous with everything you could even need inside. The grounds are huge and also stunning. I loved the salt water infinity pool. I recommend the breakfast too, every single breakfast item you could think of, they had. "We had a lovely stay at Occidental Roca Negra. The hotel is peaceful with beautiful, quiet surroundings—perfect for relaxing. The spa and pool area were highlights, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor downside is that there isn’t much nearby in terms of shops or markets, but if you’re looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, this hotel is ideal."
