Spa and restaurant were both closed the Friday evening that we spent here, which was disappointing. Instead, we visited a couple breweries in the area. The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful! The hotel itself was clean and had a cool forest theme inside. Would recommend for a spa getaway, but not the most ideal accommodation to check out downtown Gothenburg.

Disappointing Stay with Multiple Issues

My stay at this hotel in June 2023 was disappointing. From the beginning, I encountered numerous problems that made my experience far from pleasant. The hotel’s closed restaurant led to an unfortunate incident where the staff rudely asked me to leave the premises when I brought a takeout lunch to the lobby. This lack of understanding was disheartening, forcing me to eat in the parking lot. The room I was given was small, poorly ventilated, and lacked air conditioning or a fan. The oppressive summer heat made it incredibly uncomfortable. Ongoing construction around the hotel added to the noise and further hindered any chance of relaxation. Maintenance issues were evident throughout the hotel, with junk in the hallways and poorly maintained infrastructure. I even noticed electrical wiring hanging out, raising safety concerns. It was disappointing that despite being advertised as a relaxing spa, no spa facilities were available. Additionally, the hotel staff frequently spoke loudly, often overpowering guests in the crowded public areas. Overall, my stay at this hotel was unsatisfactory. The treatment during lunch, lack of proper cooling, ongoing construction, and maintenance issues significantly marred my experience. I would strongly advise seeking alternative accommodations until improvements are made.

Rummet stämde inte alls överens med bilderna på nätet. Endast var sin liten huvudkudde. Trångt, mörkt och sjangserat med märklig doft. Receptionen var ej öppen när vi kom trots att vi kom innan 20.00 fick gå in genom en bakdörr, kändes som en köksingång. Ej så tillmötesgående personal. Det kändes som två vitt skilda hotell i hotellet, vilket ej framgick vid bokning.

Har intet med at spa ophold at gøre. De havde et billigt privat udendørs spa samt et indendørs som alt i alt minede mere om et fodbad. De holdte privat sammrnkomst da vi ankomte. Så man følte sig ikke ligefrem velkommen på den udendørs teressa. Så de havde valgt at låse døren så mam skulle ringe til dem for at blive lukket ind. Der er ingen skabe til ens tøj, så man kan ikke pakke sit tøj ud af kufferten. Morgenmaden var ikke fra samme dag (tydeligt at se på f.eks overfladen af ost og de skiveskåret tomater) de skivrskåret vandmeloner var helt melet. Vil betragte det som et hostel uden de mest fornødende ting.

Hotellet har mysiga allmänutrymmen och stor härlig yta utomhus om vädret tillåter. Personalen var väldigt trevlig. Rummen har rena och sängen skön, men annars var standarden ganska medelmåttig. Frukosten Ok men når inte upp i standard med förväntningar på svensk hotellfrukost.

Stedet var meget gammelt og slidt. Lænestolene var ikke særlig indbydende at se på. Der var gamle pletter. Værelset var støvet og gulvet var beskidt. Efter bad, var måtten helt brun underneden:( Morgenmaden var til gengæld god:)

Utroligt god service! Vi ankom sent ift check-in, så værten ringede til os, da vi kørte af færgen for at høre, om vi ønskede at spise på hotellet, for så ville de bede kokken blive lidt længere. Det valgte vi at gøre, og det fortrød vi bestemt ikke! Rigtig god mad baseret på friske råvarer, en virkelig god og opmærksom betjening, så vi manglede absolut ingenting og gik langt fra sultne i seng den aften. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage næste år, når vi igen skal til Gøteborg :)

Jeg vil sige at det ser bedre ud på billederne end det gør men øjnene. Er lidt slidt og omgivelserne minder lidt om et sted på landet i Østeuropa. Men når det er sagt så er personalet flinke og søde og hvis man bare skal sove og havde morgenmad til en billig penge så er det helt fint. Det skal lige siges t vi ikke har benyttet hotellets øvrige faciliteter.

Rummet var ok, sängarna lutade lite åt fel håll och bara en väldigt liten kudde. Jättebra service och bubbelbadet va bra, ingen intervall utan konstant bubbel. Bara 1:an och 2:an på tv och baren stängde 22 så det fanns inget att göra.
