The building has a bit of a maze-like charm; it’s easy to get turned around in the hallways, but that’s part of its character. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding — one of the nicest and most varied I’ve seen anywhere in Sweden. Highly recommended for both comfort and atmosphere

Great vibe

I loved the vibe of the hotel. Very unique and loved all the decor. The location was perfect, could easily walk to everything and all trains/teams/busses were nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful as well. I would give it 5 stars except the wifi was spotty and the bathroom would flood every time we showered.

Cozy with amazing breakfast

One of the cosiest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Nice atmosphere and overall nice. Breakfast was amazing, one of the best and I already recommended it to everyone I know 😊 the only thing is that we heard our neighbour take a shower in the middle of the night, but that’s normal in older buildings. Anyhow, everything else topped the stay anyway

It’s an interesting hotel with a certain style. But it’s tired, and frayed about the edges, and really needs renovation. That said, the beds are super comfortable.

Amazing, charming hotell with a personal feeling perfectly situated in the heart of Gothenburg. Friendly, helpful staff, eye for details and the little things. (like «the speaking elevator.») Loved the breakfast and the lovely rooftop. The rooms were the prettiest I’ve seen in a long time. Hairdryer AND flattening iron! For three girls travelling this was lifesaving. Greatful that these kind of hotels still exists.

Amazing stay, brilliant location!

Amazing stay, lovely hotel very friendly staff and very conveniently located. One of the best quality food for the breakfast buffets. Rooms was fantastic and very comfortable to stay, had almost everything you could think over (even straighteners). However I am not sure if it is just because I booked a smaller room but there was no desk/chair inside which while not essential always comes in handy for getting ready in the morning.

Sweden is so much more than IKEA

Spent 3 nights in this quirky hotel. Staff was great, helpful and very kind: from the desk to the breakfast team. Great, individually decorated room, soft carpets, well sound isolated from both street and corridor. Luxurious ambience - including the roof terasse where you could have breakfast, drinks or dinner. It's a place for future visits!

Mixed bag but largely positive

Cosy and clean boutique hotel with a great breakfast buffet. That said, our room was quite worn, lacked any storage facilities for bags or suitcases, and the toilet was not fully attached, leaving the cistern leaking onto the floor. Would stay there again though. For over 3,oookr for two nights, less chipped paint and peeling wallpapers would be expected. Cleaners did an amazing job and service was excellent.
