"Great location. Beautiful, gracious hotel. Staff polite and helpful. Had a good dinner and breakfast at the Swamp Fox Restaurant on site. The bathroom was a bit small. Would not be able to accommodate a super plus size person."

"The hotel is average it looks nice but lacks the basics. For example it requires 3 switches to turn on one light in the bathroom. The TV only has two channels that come in clear and the parking lot lights are mostly non working.if you bring these things to stay staff The only thing they say is they "don't know" The staff are more geared toward supporting locals and rude to guests. For the cost stay elsewhere."

"My wife and I were extremely happy with our choice to stay at Mills House! From the point of checking in, we felt welcomed and thought the entire staff did a tremendous job. They were very accommodating for check in/out adjustments, and were able to hold our bags for us while we explored the city waiting for our flight. The room was very clean and comfortable as well! The outdoor pool was super nice and relaxing, and the poolside bar was a great touch. Highly recommended all around! "

"The staff was great. Very nice location right on the Charleston Harbor. The hotel is showing its age. Sloppy paint work on walls with overlap on to the tile. Dirty/dusty HVAC vents. The bathroom sink was practically clogged and drained very slowly. The room AC turns on and off frequently and is very loud."
