"A lovely countryside place to stay! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a nice shower. The restaurant was definitely a highlight — the traditional regional food was absolutely superb and such a great experience. Everything felt authentic, peaceful, and welcoming. "When we stayed there it was hot and they have no air conditioning in the rooms. We had a balcony that was shared with another room, did not feel comfortable to leave the balcony doors open all night. Also we had booked in April of 2026 and paid, and required parking. 2 days before we arrived we got notified that we did not have parking. They did not tell us how to drive into the city to bring our suitcases to the hotel, we had to park outside the wall and carry our luggage all the way to the hotel. I would have appreciated a parking spot which we had confirmed back in April but once August came around, they wouldn’t give us one. And they also did not give us instructions on which entrance we should be driving into to bring our suitcases to the hotel."

"We stayed for 2 nights. The location was relatively close to the places we wanted to visit. Our room was clean and spacious. The included breakfast was excellent, with a variety of hot and cold offerings. We would certainly stay here again. One small criticism -- we had booked a "junior suite" in order to have a larger sized bed but had not realized that this "suite" was a "2-story" unit in an unattached second building. Fortunately, the weather was good and walking to the main building for breakfast was not a problem. All in all, this was a minor "complaint" and we were quite satisfied with our stay. Regarding parking, we did not use a car but the hotel's parking lot seemed quite ample."

"A really good hotel. The only issue as in many places these days was the cost of breakfast at €19 each. Luckily there’s a filling station across the road where you can get fresh pastries and totally passable hot drinks for a fraction of this cost. The location of the hotel is good too as you can walk into the centre along the river. There is also a bus stop almost directly outside and nearby parking. Would stay again."

There were no portable fans for the rooms. The staff were very good and we got moved to the cooler side of the building and were given the option of checking out with a fill refund (we had to find alternative hotel)."

"It was a pleasant, well maintained Marriott property that did not disappoint. Good AC, walkable to to downtown, and easy to get on/off the highway if you’re driving. Only downsides are the expensive parking and equally expensive breakfast which was 30 euros per person for nothing more than a typical European breakfast layout that most hotels offer for free."
