Stayed here a few years back and it was quite nice, sadly things have definitely gone downhill since then and I don't think we'll be back. Certainly not up to par with other Best Western properties.
The good - All rooms (I think) have ocean views and there is a trail that goes right down to the beach. Heater in the room worked well. Indoor pool and hot tub our kiddo thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was great, we got there right before it ended on a Saturday and still were able to get waffles, eggs, potatoes, ham, biscuits and gravy, etc. The staff were all very kind and helpful.
The bad - Our room was on the lower level, which DOES NOT look like the pictures. I understand that these are the cheapest rooms they offer however transparency is important. The lower level rooms are located below the parking level ones, in a musty hallway with a door that no longer locks. Furniture looks like it's from 2005 and all felt like it had a film over it. I got the feeling we may have been put in a pet friendly room, which I did not appreciate as we were traveling with a young baby. Stained lampshades. Curtains were ancient, stained and the sheer ones are yellowed from age. It was nice to have a balcony however there was no screen and the slider did not lock (which is concerning as we are on the lower level). There was just a piece of wood to place in the track. We found a blood stain on the sheets. There was quite a lot of black mold in the bathroom and on the window
