"Delightful 3☆ hotel in the marvellous village of Brisighella. Daniele and his family made us very welcome. Lovely dual-aspect room with superb views across rooftops to the old clock tower and to the other side of the valley. We enjoyed drinks from the bar and had the best meal of our two weeks in Bologna and Ravenna on the hotel's terrace. There's a sun terrace with amazing views. "One night stay in Ravenna at this hotel for a cruise that was departing the following day. Perfect for what we needed. A late check in and much was closed in the area that late except for a delicious restaurant walkable from hotel that the staff recommended. Staff was very helpful in securing transportation to the cruise terminal from the hotel as well. Breakfast buffet was included and offered hot and cold selections. The dining area was inside or seating outside with a beautiful landscaping....

"We only stayed the one night, and it was really just a “pit stop” before we went on a cruise out of Ravenna. The hotel is very close to the train station (as we came down from Venice), and our room included a transfer to the port. The breakfast was good and the staff were nice, but we weren’t impressed with the room. The beds were very hard and there was no character to the room. Also, the WiFi was terrible."

Only two negatives: 1) The air conditioner in our room did not work well, so if you are coming in the summer and AC is a priority be aware. 2) The Expedia listing says this property has a laundry, but it does not. We were told we’d have to walk to a laundromat around a half mile away."

"The staff at Santa Maria Foris were very friendly and welcoming, especially the ‘front of house’ lady. The room was of a very good size, quiet and cool (when outside it was 30+C). Nice shady and quiet gardens. Good WiFi, free coffee, and a garage for secure off-street parking. The hotel is very well located for all of the main historical sites, good restaurants and the main market. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed Ravenna. Thank you!"
