"Rooms were adequate- very similar to travel lodges I would say but are very Clean and everything you need for a few days. We had a sea view , didnt use the pool or gym as we didnt have time as only stayed 2 nights Breakfast was great. Hot and cold buffet But what makes the Bay great is the staff - really lovely people Arklow is tiny so location is good Will stay again when visiting family"

"I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. The only outdoor seating was by the BBQ Cafe and posted signage that you can't use that seating unless buying from them. But what good is having...

"Fantastic stay. we arrived late but Jeff was ready for us. Greatly appreciate everything about the hotel and the staff friendliness. "This was our first stop away from Dublin on our holiday. The owners, Dave and Laura were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, bed a bit soft ( we love hard beds) but clean. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully they had beautiful Enya music playing while we ate. Their yard is delightful to see. Our only complaint, is that the house was cold upon arrival and was never warmed. Our room warmed very nicely. It was a dreary day. "

"What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."

"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. Just like any other hostel, you rent towels and strip your own beds of the white linens you place there prior to sleep. The building wasn't well maintained and there was no sound limit...

" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...
