"Das Hotel und vor allem die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war vor allem das Bad in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Toilette selbst war sehr tief und der Sitz defekt. Die Dusche war an vielen Stellen schimmelig bzw. rostig. Jedes normale Hotel hätte solche Mängel selbstverständlich beseitigt, hier anscheinend nicht. Das Frühstück mit Blick auf den Golfplatz war das einzige Highlight. Essen und Service war gut."

"We stayed at The Lucan Spa two different days during our trip as we were driving through Ireland and it was not too far from the airport. I can’t say enough about the staff - we arrived early and we were able to leave our luggage there with no problem. I injured myself and they were genuinely concerned and extremely helpful. "I literally happened upon this property in a beautiful coastal suburb, Malahide, right outside of Dublin. I had never heard of Malahide, but a lovely Irish woman suggested I stay at the Grand Hotel for my last night in Dublin. It was a fantastic tip. "Close proximity to Dublin airport. great value for what was provided, well stocked gym, spacious room with a fridge! Towels, toiletries provided. Shuttle service to airport very convenient. Had a lovely meal in the onsite restaurant.Our only regret is instant coffee seems to be always provided! In Canada, we have coffee pots the room with pods of coffee that test so much better!"
