"The room was pleasant, well furnished, clean and tidy. My only minor complaint would be that for some reason it was very warm in the room which was surprising considering the radiator was turned off and it was late March. The staff are excellent as is the location which is literally a couple of minutes from the Main Street. The breakfast was excellent and made to order with plenty of imaginative choices. I would highly recommend as it is reasonably priced as well. "

"Staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in the family suite and it was perfect for us. Bring a hairdryer and hair conditioner if that is important to you. We added the breakfast buffet which was a great value. There is a connected pub with a kitchen which was great after a long day of travel. "

Appearance throughout suggested recent refurbishment to a high standard. All of the staff we met were helpful and buoyant. Food in the restaurant and bar was wholesome and reasonably priced."

"Gorgeous hotel & an absolutely wonderful room. Amazing bed & shower! Most of the staff was truly wonderful, with the exception of one horrible female server in the restaurant. On two separate days, she was incredibly rude. Once to me directly, for no apparent reason. We were polite, quiet and simply ordered a drink and meal from the menu. No special asks and we were so happy to be there, were in happy moods. I chalked it up to her having a bad day. But the next day, we were next to a table of...

"Everything was perfect! Both room 1 & 3 were super clean, warm home, lovely powerful shower, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Trish & Chris were lovely hosts, you can tell they take pride in their welcoming home, delicious cooked breakfast, would love to visit again!"
