The choice at breakfast was outstanding and the restaurant staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was hot and plenty of it. "This hotel in Pitlochry was a convenient stop-over when we were en route from Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye. While there are lots of things to see and do locally, our schedule allowed us to stay only one night. The rooms were comfortable if on the small side given the angular walls that followed the roof line. The beds and linens were fine, and the rooms had a nice modern shower. Plenty of parking available, great breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff. The only real drawback was that there was no elevator, so we needed to haul our luggage up several flights of stairs."

"Perched on a hill in town, the hotel was a 8-10 minute walk to the shops and a quiet refuge from the busy Main Street. We were in the modern annex with a terrace. Bed a bit small for two tall people, but comfortable. The Main House lounge was a very comfy place to read in the late afternoon; best of all - the outstanding dinner. Compliments to the chef! Do stay for dinner!"
