Gladstone Downtown Central Apartment – 4/5 I would absolutely recommend this apartment and would happily stay again. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment at the end of a hectic few nights of motel hopping, and it was exactly what I needed—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, including a comfy spot to sit and read, plenty of parking, and a quiet, calm atmosphere. The friendliness of the reception staff and the overall quality were reflected in the price. A great option if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-appointed stay in Gladstone.

Great place to stay. Nice clean spacious rooms. Comfy bed. Everything you need is in the room. Parking can be an issue as a lot of workers stay here. I enjoy staying here. It’s my second time. Will stay again.

Mixed Bag Stay: Ideal for Workers, Not Kid-Friend

Stayed at the hotel for a night. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the ripped curtains were a downside. The overall building could use a facelift, but the pool was a highlight. The kitchenette, particularly the stove, needs an upgrade. Ideal for a quick stay for workers but might not be the best choice for families with kids. Note: No reception; key cards are securely stored in a locked safe.

The rooms were dirty with mold in one of the showers, the stove top had melted plastic on it, the oven was dirty and the range hood. The lounge and the carpet were dirty and the blanket on the bed had white dirty marks on it, overall the place felt grotty. There were broken chairs in the apartment and the globs were blown in the bedrooms. When they came to service the room they only emptied the bin and stamped and folded one toilets rolls. They did not replace toilet paper in the other room or replaced the dishwashing liquid or rubbish bags. However the office stave where really nice and welcoming when checking in and the gave us 2 breakfast bags with bread butter jams little juice box’s little milks tea and coffees. Overall I do not think it warranted the 4 starts it claims to have.

No one was at reception during supposed working hours!!! No way to gain entry into room, without the kindness of a resident we would’ve been out of luck. We never received an email or text telling us what to do with our American cell phones we couldn’t make a call!
