We had a very nice 1 nite stay at this property. The bed was very comfortable, the exercise facility was nice, laundry, although we didn’t use it, was convenient, the front desk staff had our reservation paperwork on the desk, with what I assume was other incoming guests. The kitchen was handy. We would definitely stay here again. No complaints!

I had booked a room with King bed and was given a queen room and told I booked through a 3rd party and they weren't required to honor the request. The hotel was clean but prpoerty is very well beat up. 3 of the lights didnt work.I would not stay here or any other Candlewood property again.

The hotel is dirty, the kitchen area there is food on the surfaces of the cabinets, the carpets are dirty, and my door did not shut properly with having to shut it by slamming against it
There was no fresh-brewed coffee, and the coffee in the coffee machine was of disgusting industrial quality. The machine and the area around it were filthy.

The first room 213 spelled so musty and the bed was kind of messy so not sure if clean. Was given a new room 319 which did not smell musty but the shower was old and the shower door disgusting with corrosion. Needs replaced bad. Overall room was clean. Have paid the same and even less for other hotels and had much better rooms.

Worst stay of a 4 day long road trip
Our 1 night stay was horrible. I called the afternoon of the day we were to arrive and spoke with a nice lady at the front desk, explained we needed a king room on the first floor near an exit. She said she had several available and it would no problem. Check-in was a nightmare, at first there was no clerk at the front desk. When she did arrive it appeared she'd been sleeping in a back office. The room I had called about previously and been assured would be available all of a sudden wasn't. When I inquired why, the front desk agent said the cost Hotels.com charged me wasn't enough and didn't cover the King room I called about and booked through Hotels.com. At checkout, several members of the staff complained they were working 12 hour shifts due to understaffing. Be aware of billing issues and check your credit card statements and bank accounts if you stay at this property.

Walked in and the lobby smelled like an auto repair shop. There were a bunch of guys sitting in the lobby who apparently worked in the oil fields. That smell continued throughout the elevator and hallways. We were given our room key. We opened the door. The room looked like a tornado went through it. It was filthy. Oops gave us a room that was occupied. Changed rooms. Had to continue smell the nasty oil and dirt sweat.

I was very disappointed when we ran out of toilet paper early in the morning and there was no extras anywhere in the room. I also discovered the there was trash in the trash can under the sink which had multiple Q-tips, an empty toilet paper roll and the paper from around the toilet paper. The thing that hold the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles on the wall of the shower was not locked in so the all fell on the floor when I tried to use them. The desk clerk was very kind and offered to send housekeeping to our room which I declined. We have stayed at several Candle Wood Suites and never had anything like this happen before. The desk clerk gave me what I needed since we were checking out in a few hours anyway. Housekeeping obviously did a really poor job on the room. It made me wonder about the bed then, gross!!!

Watch for dog attacks and less than helpful staff.
The place was fine. Several rooms down were 2 large, loud dogs. No big deal... until they came out of the room as I was walking to my car. The lady holding the pit immediately said he is not mean. Ok, I didn't think he was or even care. Almost immediately after that the dog lunged, growl, barked and pulled her to the ground. I had my hand on safety measures and was about to use the measures as the dog hit the end of its leash. She mumbled something about sorry or something as my wife was getting ready to plug her ears in case things got loud. I immediately reported to the front staff who acted like it was no big deal. It was a big deal. Guess who would have been the first to be sued if the attack was successful? That's right, the hotel who didn't seem to care.
