"The location is excellent and the suite is large, comfortable, and quiet. While the area outside is surrounded by nightlife, it is silent inside the suite. It is a short walk from public transportation and many sites. The staff are communicative and were very helpful in arranging airport pickup. I highly recommend Matisse Bucharest Old Town. "

One of the most impressive and beautiful buildings I’ve ever stayed in. The incredible bronze safe in the lobby is worth the price of admission alone. Location is perfect. A minute’s walk from the old town. I can’t remember much about my room but I’m sure it was nice!"

"Room was beautiful and also very clean. Staff were very helpful, location is central to the old town Breakfast was so so, some fresh cut fruit would be nice (some apples and bananas on the side but that was about all). I was at the front so it was quite loud as it faced one of the main streets in the old town but i knew where i was staying so i knew it was likely to not be the quietest "

So when I came early to store my luggage before check-in I could not easily get in. The reception is staffed during daytime. The hotel offers a free minibar (sodas and water) and two bottles of complimentary wine. Breakfast is nice even if the options are somewhat limited. Overall, a good place to stay."
