"I was impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff. Excellent location next to a beautiful beach and the boardwalk. We enjoyed our nightly walk into town for supper. Unfortunately, on our last day (March 30) I got food poisoning that I can only contribute to the breakfast buffet. I didn’t eat anything else that day."

"I lived on the ground floor . The smell in my room was not pleasant as if I lived in a basement. The reason is that the windows couldn’t be opened because the owner made them stuck. I did have unpleasant expedience living in such a condition. Hopefully the boss should let the windows open at least when the cleaning lady clean the room in the morning."

"This was a lovely hotel with very attentive staff and smartly located across from the marina. We could walk to everything we wanted to do: the marina, the beautiful beach, the stunning cliff walks and the charming old town. Our room was very comfortable and hands down this hotel offers the best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had included with your room price. We will definitely come here again! Parking- a 5 minute walk to underground secure parking."

"Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again for our next algarve visit. Great location and rooms. We really appreciated the extra touches for our honeymoon. Wonderful breakfast. It said continental but its a full buffet with lots of fruits, pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs to order, etc. There's a really nice pool that's perfect for lounging and you can order tapas."

"I’ll start by saying it may just be our North American standard of a 5 star to be impeccable in all areas but this hotel was not that. The staff were 5 star amazing and accommodating and helpful but otherwise this hotel would fall in a 3 star rating. Our first apartment was disappointing in that the shower had a spraying leak, the tub wouldn’t plug to bath our son, the toilet had a crack/leak, the safe didn’t work, the espresso machine didn’t work, the laundry did not work, you could not shower at night if the apartment above had just showered (we waited 2 hours and still no hot water for our baby), and lastly the ants were everywhere.. we found them in our sons crib. The staff were very helpful and fixed what they could but ultimately they couldn’t fix it all and told us they would move us in 24 hours which then did &we really appreciated it. Our next apartment was significantly better but the tub water came out brown so we had to shower our son, and the drain had to be fixed, we did not have a safe in the room but they did bring one, our kitchen had different items/no pans to make stove top but by this point we felt we had asked for too much and the staff was trying their best! The furniture was extremely worn and had stains which is fine but just not something you would expect for 5 stars. The amenities were good but again worn out. The deck around the spa pool was falling apart &the steam room was out of order. More of a maintenanceissue than anything. Great location"
