There was a security officer monitoring the parking lot and building at night. Our only complaint is that the bed sagged in the middle, but it wasn't enough to cause a bad night's sleep. Overall a wonderful experience! "

"Everything at La Maison was perfect. It is a lovely property, very refined and comfortable. Everything was "just enough". We loved the balcony and the shower. We had a jetted tub (but did not use it). Pillow was a bit too firm, but the bed and linens were comfortable. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and on a morning we had to leave prior to breakfast, the ladies had prepped a to-go Continental for us. The location is great. Close to downtown but not crazy crowded. The streets were noisy when outside (cars, ambulances), but we did not hear them while in our room. I was pleased to find we were supporting a black-owned, woman-owned, and privately-owned business. I will 100% look to stay here each time we return to Houston."
