"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. "Greshornish was a beautiful spot however the location was quite remote and the driveway to get to the property was approximately 2.5 miles long and full of pot holes. It definitely could use some maintenance. The room was clean and large and the staff friendly. Breakfast was good but overpriced. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good."

"This property was so unique with such an amazing view. Unfortunately availability of food and beverage was not what we expected. The bar closed earlier than listed and when we asked hotel staff if we could buy a glass of wine, we were told no. A small shop in the lobby with bottles of water, wine, snacks would have been a great addition. Also, one of the 2 saunas was broken, only one bathrobe provided per room and there was a broken shower shelf."

"The Skye Inn was a guesthouse at hotel prices. The restaurant was closed the breakfast while good was slow and the staff in their own words were “distracted” Basically it seemed that the student aged staff were operating the Skye Inn without adult management. Perhaps as the season was just starting they were all new on their jobs but the place missed having an experienced adult in charge"

"The hotel is located inside a sheep farm and next to the water. Beautiful quiet location. Love seeing the sheeps and hearing their bleeps. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Even the smallest guest room is spacious. We enjoy the common space of the sunroom/library. Some potholes on the road where we first entered the farm, just 20-30 meters. Drive slow and you are fine — you should drive slow anyway as sheep’s are everywhere"

"The property was clean and as expected for a 3 star. Unfortunately we could not communicate with the host the day before checkin and the day of checkin. We escalated the day before with Expedia because the phone numbers did not work. The cell provided on checkin instructions rung someone in UK, he had no clue what I was asking. The land line number never answered. We also sent an email morning of checkin to Sykes cottages, no response. I sent a message using the contact property feature...
