Hotel Spa di Gatineau

"Host is awesome. The house decor is unique and interesting to see the things collected on the host's travels. Breakfast was delicious. The only negative experience was the size of the bed. We booked the room that advertised a king sized bed, and it wasnt a king. It was two double mattresses pushed together. The drawback of this was my feet dangled off the bed all night long. I have a king at home and was hoping to achieve the same level of comfort. Other than that, everything was wonderful. "

"This place is misrepresented. There is no breakfast. The picture above is not the place. I had no safe parking available even though I called in advanced to confirm that it will be in fact available. The owners did all they could to convince me to park my car in the farthest corner through ice and unshoveled snow where I would get stuck either on the way in or out. I tried to shovel the snow myself to make parking possible . Eventually I had to park in the street with a fear of being towed....

"I booked my family here for one night when we were visiting a family member in Aylmer. The plan was to enjoy the pools and spa for a day, but I had not read the fine print and learned too late that no one under 18 could go, which was a huge disappointment. The staff were courteous and professional during our short stay, but unhelpful and abrupt when I called beforehand to adjust the reservation dates. "

"Great location. All staff were amazing. Bed not that comfortable. Bathroom had a sewage smell at night - had to close the bathroom door and open a window for fresh air. "
