"This property was rated only as Good, but during my stay it felt much better than that. The hotel had a fresh coat of paint, the room was free of any musty smell, and everything was very clean and pleasant. The breakfast was not particularly impressive, but it’s fairly typical for this type of property. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would rate it closer to Very Good based on my experience. "

"Overall the stay was great, the breakfast was ok. Our only issue really was that there were things that had maintenance problems that had not been repaired adequately or that weren’t repaired. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling that had not been repaired, there was floor trim that has become unglued and was just a sore sight to look at. "The room we were initially assigned had a couple of issues, and the staff were quick to resolve the matter, and in fact upgraded the room from a single queen to a double queen room with no conflict. I was very happy with the quality of service, and when we were settled, it was quite comfortable, clean, and nice and quiet."

"This is a brand new hotel in a refurbished historic building. Loved how they restored and highlighted the original entrance foyer and created a tastefully modern lobby and restaurant area next to it.
