Loved this place as it is well situated at the start of the beautiful Latin Quarter of Galway. When we arrived, the first night was a gale force storm. The window leaked from the torrential downpour and high winds. In the morning we discovered pools of water that had come though the windows. The hotel staff informed us that the facility was undergoing a full remodel, so that moved to an another room that had the remodel completed with brand new windows.
It’s was just steps away to the historic Latin Quarter where there is lots of shopping, food, pubs and other interesting places to visit. So the hotel’s location is perfect.
The hotel itself is nice, clean and being further remodeled, updated. The staff and service were accommodating and warm.
Parking is available in a parking garage (Spanish Arch Q park) that is right next door, but be advised that the entry gate and parking lanes are quite narrow and tight. So moderate-to-large sized vehicles won’t be able to effectively use it. We recommend having a small car in order to access and comfortably use it.
Overall, we recommend this hotel.
