"The apartment was in a very central location, only a few moments away from the main shopping mall in Funchal, and coffee shop almost on the doorstep. There was a kitchenette, washing machine and ironing board provided, and all useful utensils provided (even sachets of oil for using the frying pan). Check in was simple with the use of door codes. "I want to get the negative comments out of the way. the room that we selected (the superior room) was not what were expecting. it wasn't the biggest room we've been in and the balcony was very small so if we wanted to see the view of the park, we had to move the chair from the balcony to then open the door. and the mini fridge wasn't very cold even when we had it on all night when the room card was in. now to the positives. it was nice to see that there has been a lot happening in the hotel in terms of renovations and as always the hotel was in good condition. and once again the staff were excellent and very friendly and always willing to answer your enquiries about anything. really looking forward to returning next year."
