"My recent stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Virginia was okay, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The staff was polite, but the overall service felt inconsistent, and some interactions didn’t meet the level of attentiveness I expected. Nothing was terrible, but the experience didn’t quite match the standard I’m used to from this brand. With a bit more focus on cleanliness of the room, communication and guest support, this location could really shine."

"Booked and paid for a double room 5 weeks in advance. At check-in, after waiting for staff to check multiple rooms it was discovered there were no double rooms available. I was then told I would be given a single with a roll away cot….but after more waiting, we found out there were no cots available. The desk person finally called the manager, who said the best they could do for me was 50% off of a second room. What a deal! 50% off of a room I should not have to pay for in the first place....

"Perhaps this is a more general hotel thing cutting corners and not including stuff that used to be standard but there is basically no housekeeping. They change towels (no fresh linens, no cleaning) every other day. Literally we got new towels and a roll of toilet paper. Supposedly if you stay a week they clean the room. I’m sure it saves them a ton of money but the savings sure don’t seem to be passed on to the customer. We could have used the floor vacuumed but not gonna happen!
