"The kindest most hospitable staffs I have seen. Always checking in to see if there was anything else needed. Spotless place with all the modern amenities. Brand new kitchen setup with stove, microwave, dish washer, sink, fridge, ect. Perfectly clean bathroom with very hotwater. Bedroom has nice comfortable mattress with white beddings. Most of all, this is a great example of French hospitality while experiencing European castle like living. "

"Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure."

"The interior of the property is lovely as is the front of the building. However when you pull into the back parking lot the first impression is disappointing. That would be my only negative comment. The staff very friendly, the rooms clean, very nice bathroom. "

"I had an awesome time. Besides the things to do in Vexen area, the hospitality is superb. The holidays are wonderful people. The continental breakfast in the morning include some world-class, home made confitures. Ditto on the home made yogurt. Great coffee too. BTW the two cats are great. Both friendly and affectionate. Almost forgot to mention that is near Giverny, a must see once in your life. "
