"I must have had a newer room during my last stay, because the room I was in did show some wear and tear. The day I tried to use the ironing board, it fell apart on me. I called the front desk and reported it and maintenance brought a replacement right away. Also, I stayed four nights and chose not to have my room cleaned until the third day. When I did request the room to be cleaned it was not; they said they were down two housekeepers so it was not done. So, I just asked for extra towels."

"**An Exceptional Stay – Wonderful Hotel, Outstanding Staff, and Beautiful Memories**
My stay at the Wingate Hotel in South Bend was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect, from the room and the overall comfort of the hotel to the warm, welcoming atmosphere that made me feel so well taken care of throughout my stay. However, what truly made this experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff.
I would particularly like to express my gratitude to the gentleman at the reception, who was...

"location was quiet but still close to commercial locations
TV, mini fridge, and desk lamp were was plugged into outlet that only worked when the entry light switch was turned on, so we had to have that bright light on around the clock to use the mini fridge or watch TV
TV remote only worked for power and volume, wouldn't change the channels
We received a phone call every morning at 6:22am on the hotel phone in our room - we complained the first morning, we complained more strongly the second...
