I am giving 5 stars because of these excellent staff - Vidal (bar), Christine (reception), Paul (restaurant) and Ferreh (cafe). They treat guests exceptionally well and deserve recognition from management. The rooms are also comfortable with good mattress, decent air con and nice working desk. Improvements would include having better air conditioning in the communal areas (only the bar seems reliably cool), having a hotel shuttle service to collect and drop guests using the airport water taxis, and more entertainment eg a local band to perform in the bar at weekends or in the garden.
Love staying here. Staff are super professional and friendly.
It’ll be great if the hotel changes the very worm down carpets in the corridors and also put de-humidifiers in the rooms.

The staff were excellent, very friendly environment but the bathroom is outdated. The hotel needs renovation
Great place to stay. Very freindly and capable staff. Hotel also very well uequipped with meeting rooms and facilities. Looking forward to coming back.
The guys at the front desk was welcoming.
My dislikes are, the room was hot, no hot water to shower. Worst one is the bed sheets and towels don't match the standard of the hotel title. It was very dirty.

The hotel can improve breakfast, carpet on the floor and by equipping their wonderful staff with potential answers to their guests. The hotel provides good security and has a great location.
The hotel was very clean. The staff were polite and respectful. I had access to all the facilities that I’m used to here in England. I will stay there again whenever I visit Sierra Leone.
Excellent service in the reception, restaurant and security guards. Always available to help. Great facilities including the gym and swimming pool. Good value for money.

One of the better hotels in Freetown and the name does not disappoint. Staff were attentive and reasonably professional.
Breakfast was quite good and covered all the basics. The rooms were well apportioned and clean.
My husband and I spent an amazing 10 days at the Radisson Blu! Every member of staff, the breakfast (and dinner at Baw Restaurant), our room, the location and the hotel’s proximity to the beachfront, shopping and dinner and entertainment spots was superlative! We will certainly come back and had a fabulous time! My only area of improvement are the carpets in the hallways. They were old and should be replaced by the tiles in the rooms in time. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Sierra Leone and see you next time!

Check out took almost 45 minutes despite no queue.
Trying to pay for incidentals in cash and getting change was a nightmare as the hotel literally had to go to a local store to get money.
No bag storage area either. They were bemused anyone would even need one.
Bring your own towel if you go for swim.
Unable to organize a taxi to sea ferry also meant I had a 2km walk in 30 degrees with my bags as ended up most efficient way of doing this such was the chaos at reception desk.
On the plus side the bar staff were very nice and the room was clean and pleasant. Food was good too. Gym was also pretty decent.
The reception staff like pulling teeth.
A.THE GOOD
1.I stayed here in February and was very unsatisfied with overall service quality. But this time around, I was very impressed with how much the hotel has progressed with its overall service: checking is faster and the staff friendlier and better trained, they do a better job at ensuring that rooms have everything needed and they are more reactive when the customer asks something( e.g extra towel, a spoon etc...). Talking about reactivity when a customer needs something, i would like to particularly highlight the amazing job done by a lady there called Eileen Johnson. Eileen was so friendly and reactive to problems that i had to ask for her name so that i can share it here. I'm grateful Eileen and I hope the rest of the team can copy from you
2.Breakfast is great with lots of food varieties
3.All the machines at the gym work and because it's only open to hotel guests, it's almost never too crowded
B.IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED
1.The food room service team seems to get angry every time I order(happned a few times) or ask for breakfast(I only ordered breakfast once) to be delivered to my room. They take very long and the person delivery always looks unfriendly and angry. One time they simply ignored my order and blamed the person at reception
2. One of the cleaning ladies(not the fair completion one) in the hall where room 216 needs more training. One day she didn't clean my coffee table, didn't refill the coffee box and left no towel and was rude when i reminded her
