"Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend."

"Staff went out of their way to help me with my bags, the room was really lovely and had a balcony with a wonderful view of the beach. Location was amazing. Be aware that it is a venue for live music, the Sunday night I stayed the band was playing downstairs until about 11pm. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"Great clean modern 2 bed apartment on the 11th floor. Great city and harbour views and drenched in sunlight. Well equipped kitchen and laundry and bathroom facilities. Kitchen sink was missing a plug though and the on-site car parking was in short supply on our first of three nights there. Great facilities and location"

"The hostel is cosy and social. It’s not a party hostel, but people do socialise in the kitchen. The beds are the drawback here - they are rickety and every time someone moves in their bed, you can hear the springs. Also my bed moved every time the guy in the top bunk rolled around. I’m 193cm and couldn’t stretch out in the bed. Difficult to sleep. If you value your sleep, find another place. "
